
MCM3P Frequency Inverters - IP20 V/Hz Control
This truly flexible sub-micro drive gives you the compact size you need for your panel layout while delivering on the functions and features your process demands. The Modari MCM3P Series can be used with 3-phase AC induction motors rated from 1/4 HP up to 30HP (0.18 - 22 kW) on voltages from 120V single-phase to 590V three-phase.
With 18 isolated terminals (5 logic inputs, 2 logic outputs, 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs plus RS485 Modbus Serial Communication), the MCM3P Series is ideal for motion control applications from the simple to the complex.
The Modari MCM3P Series drives employ the EPM memory technology for fast and efficient programming. Technical documentation for the MCM3P Series Drives, and all Praestar Controls brand controls, will soon be available in our Technical Library.

Remote Keypad
Simple 4 wire connection to the MCM3P drive, the remote keypad provides for drive operation (start, stop, direction and speed) and programming. Includes 3 digit LED. Measures only 3.4in (H) x2.2 in (W). Includes gasketing to meet up to NEMA 4X rated environments.
Dynamic Braking
Packaged Dynamic brake option includes control and resistors in an easy to implement solution for fast stopping or deceleration requirements.
EMC Filter
To meet the EU requirements for susceptibility and emissions of electrical and radiated noise (EN 61800-3 and EN 5501). The footprint design allows the filter to mount between the panel and the drive providing the most efficient use of panel space.
High Frequency Output
1,000 Hz Maximum output frequency for high speed motors
PI Setpoint Control Software
For Setpoint Control of a process using an analog feedback signal (4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC)
Thru-Hole Mounting
This option allows the inverter heatsink to be mounted through the back of the electrical enclosure or cubicle to reduce overall enclosure size. The heatsink is anodized and gasketed for use in NEMA 4X environments
The EPM MemoryOnce the drive is successfully programmed, remove the EPM and save it to the EPM Programmer for a reliable back-up of the drive's configuration. For even greater security, connect the EPM Programmer to any computer and save the program.
Clone:
Easily copy a drive's configuration using the EPM Programmer and copying from one EPM to another or from the Programmer's memory to a blank EPM. Writing to an EPM takes only 2 seconds, so the process is fast and efficient. Since the memory is removed from the drive, a drive does need to be powered to program it! Praestar Controls is the only drive that does not require line power on the drive to program the drive.
OEM Machine back-up:
When a drive program is saved to an EPM using the EPM Programmer, the program is saved in two locations; the "User Memory" that can be changed from the front of the drive and the "OEM Default" memory which is non-volatile and cannot be changed unless overwritten with the EPM Programmer. No longer must the drive be reset to the Drive Manufacturers defaults and rebuilt to the OEM's original settings, simply reset to how the machine left the OEM's factory!
Reduce Down Time:
All drives eventually fail. In fact, the higher the quality, the longer it will take; but it is inevitable. And, the longer that the drive has been operating, the higher the probability that no one will remember how it was configured so replacement can be a timely process. But NO MORE! When using a drive with an EPM, simply remove the EPM from the old drive and put it into the replacement drive and it is ready to run!
