Controller Development Process

When developing an application-specific controller, we follow this process to ensure that all requirements are met and that our customers are completely satisfied:

Learn Application and System Requirements

We spend time to understand the specific needs of your machine control and learn about the requirements of the application.

Share Existing Machine Control Knowledge

We work with you, building upon your years of experience to understand exactly how you've crafted your current control solution.

Develop Proposal

Based on your system requirements and desires for you controller, we develop a proposal that includes functionality definition, pricing, and delivery schedule for both prototype and production parts.

Mutual Project Commitment

Based on our proposal, we come to a mutual agreement as to features, pricing, and delivery of the prototype and production to ensure that you are fully satisfied.

Prototype Development and Testing

We develop the prototype controller based on our project specification. We test it to verify functionality as well as design conformance. In many instances, we test the controller in its target application at our facility, if feasible.

Customer Testing and Acceptance

Once the prototype is delivered, the customer has the opportunity to fully exercise the controller and perform necessary testing to comply with their Quality and Supply Chain Management Strategy.

Production Parts Delivered

Once the prototype is fully tested and qualified, we ramp into full-production of our mutually-designed product.
