Who: Fortune 100 Manufacturer of Road-Making Equipment Problem: Had unacceptable levels of work-safety incidents and production defects. Solution: We studied the environment within the plant and identified key areas for workplace improvement. Next, we made specific suggestions for modifying the work instructions of key assembly and fabrication workers. Finally, we delivered training to the entire workforce (three shifts � over 200 employees) in proper workplace safety, assembly methods, and measurement methods for inspectors.
